Brighter Futures is Ealing Children Service’s innovation programme, designed to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and reduce the need for them to become looked after.

Brighter Futures have created a model of intensive multi-agency support for children and families; enhanced evidence based training; a drive to recruit more local foster carers; and a pioneering reshaping of prevention services to reduce demand in social care.

The programme has driven substantial success since its inception, including a reduction of CLA numbers.
Following a successful DfE funded pilot, Brighter Futures was rolled out across Ealing Children’s Services in April 2017. This is an opportunity for Local Authorities to hear about our journey from Innovation to Transformation.
