Evidence Into Real World Practice in Children’s Services: Creativity and Innovation in Challenging Times

Event start date: 4th November 2016

The National Implementation Service (NIS) held two seminars on ‘Evidence Into Real World Practice in Children’s Services: Creativity and Innovation in Challenging Times’ in November 2016, hosted by Leeds City Council and Birmingham City Council.

These seminars (4th Nov in Leeds and 9th Nov in Birmingham) provided an opportunity for participants to hear about the latest research findings, policy developments and local implementation of evidence interventions for children and young people in care, adoptive families and children at risk of entering care or custody, including hearing from local authorities about how they have been supported through the DfE Innovation Programme.

Attendees had the opportunity of participating in workshops on the range of evidence based interventions which the NIS supports, including MST , RESuLT, AdOpt and KEEP.
