Project Apollo (Care Leavers SIB Sheffield)

Supporting care leavers to identify career goals, access opportunities and sustain engagement in education, employment and training (EET).

Project Description

This project seeks to offer support to young people leaving care by helping them to move into education, work and training.

The project aims to reduce access barriers for 100 young people through offering careers advice, workplace connections and practical experience, and support with applying for opportunities.

The programme utilises several staff roles including Transition Coaches who provide tailored support to each young person, and an Employment Engagement Officer who connects with employers and organises activities such as workplace tours and mock-interviews.
